Smart Live were tasked with finding a suitable venue for our client’s post-financial conference drinks reception. The venue needed to allow for substantial theming, and so we chose the stunning, versatile Guildhall. The next challenge was to transform this historic venue into their chosen theme of “Streets of London” for the evening event, designed to wow the 700 international guests attending.

Smart Live created themed structures, matching food stations to famous London Streets. A highlight was Carnaby Street visualised through a large sign, olive trees, wooden industrial furniture & miniature gin and tonic herb gardens, where guests could personalise their drinks! We also created a traditional London Pub in the West Crypts, with beer on draft and fish and chips to enhance the ‘British’ theme.
