Our aim was to create an inspiring event, celebrating the phenomenal success of Team GB at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Starting with the blank canvas venue, Evolution London, we wanted to overlay a theme reflective of the Rio Olympics and the success of the team.

Our creative team worked together with our client to design and produce favela flats, a carnival float bar, and an intimate rum bar.

Some of the other main features included a gold Union Jack shaped carpet dividing the room, Team GB highlights shown on large LED screens, along with bespoke content we created for the event. A jaw dropping opening featured a troop of Brazilian Dancers and performers to lead the athlete’s procession.

The star-studded evening included an opening from The Princess Royal, our hosts for the evening, Claudia Winkleman and Tom Daley, and the night was brought to a close with a set from Gary Barlow.
